Let's Start With a Conversation.

There’s no right way to reach out for therapy. Some people call. Some people stare at the phone for three weeks and then send an email at midnight. However you get here is fine — I’ll meet you where you are.

No referral is required. The first call is free, runs somewhere between 30 and 60 minutes, and is completely pressure-free. The goal of that call is simply to figure out whether we’re a good fit. If we are, we’ll schedule a first session. If we’re not, I’ll help you find someone who is.

What Happens When You Reach Out?

Reaching out to a therapist can feel like a big step. Here’s what to expect once you make contact:

01

A free consultation call

When you call or email, we'll set up a free consultation — anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on how much we have to talk about. This is where you'll get a feel for how I work and what a real session might look like. It's the same way I've done this for years, and I find it really does save everyone time.

02

We figure out whether we're a fit

Good therapy requires a decent match between therapist and client. If it feels like we're on the same page, we'll schedule a first session. If I'm not the right fit for what you need, I'll say so honestly — and I'll do my best to point you toward someone who is.

03

Paperwork, insurance, and logistics

If we're moving forward, I'll send you intake forms through Upheal, my electronic health record system. We'll verify your insurance (or confirm self-pay rates) and you'll get a link for our HIPAA-compliant video platform. No downloads, no app stores — just a link in your email or text.

04

Your first session

First sessions are mostly about getting to know each other. I'll ask some questions. You'll ask some questions. We'll begin to map out what you want to work on and how we'll go about it. You are in charge of the pace.

Send a Message

If picking up the phone feels like too much right now, that is completely okay. Fill out the short form below and I’ll get back to you within one to two business days. Everything you send is confidential.

A Quick Note About Payment

H.O.P.E. Therapy is paneled with Tricare and accepts self-pay clients. Additional insurance paneling is in progress — the full list of in-network plans will be published here as it’s confirmed.

Until then, the easiest way to know whether your insurance will work is to ask. I’m happy to help you figure it out during your free consultation.

Still Thinking About It? That's Okay Too.

You don’t have to be ready for therapy to reach out. You just have to be curious about whether it might help.
